Hi I’m Jac the illustrator & Head Zookeeper at Cheeky Monkey Studio.
As a child I loved to draw and would often lose myself in imaginary little worlds I’d create. However my Mum was less than impressed with my creations when they spread to her carpet and my clothes. But none the less I persevered and pursued my dream to art college.
Heady days of bright red hair, ripped jeans sploshed with paint and plaster of paris followed. My Mum despaired that I would never be a proper girl that some nice young man would be happy to take home to his parents.
Much to everyone’s surprise (even my own) I met my ever patient and somewhat more sensible hubby. We moved from place to place with his career and I travelled near and far with my work as a Display Designer & Visual Merchandiser for many years.
The magical wonder of imagination has never left me and has blossomed into the dream that is Cheeky Monkey Studio.
Nowadays I share my little home on the Lincolnshire fens with several cheeky characters that constantly run amok creating mischief and mayhem in my sunny wee studio.
